Kaylen moved into her cell, a guard unlocking it for her. She found everything as she left it, and sighed with a small smile as she sat down on her mattress. Things were working out so good here, way better than any of her other "homes".
She lay back on her mattress, and tried to drone out any other outside noises. She liked things quiet, which rarely happened in a prison. She noticed that Arti was lying on her side facing away from her, and thought she could hear muffled crying.
Eyebrows raised, she didn't know what had caused something like that. Arti seemed like a hard girl, one that didn't easily break.

Captain Knauer strolled casually down the aisle of the cells. He heard Arti's crying and hesitantly stopped before continuing down the aisle. He stopped by Kaylen's cell and looked in on her, noticing that she was just lying on the mattress. "Hey," he said softly, leaning on the door. He put his arms through the bars so it would be more comfortable. The moonlight shone through Kaylen's windows, luminating his face a bit.
It almost made him a ghostly hue. He blinked as he took his sunglasses off and put them in his shirt pocket.

Getting off her bed, Kaylen shoved her hands into her pockets, moving over towards the bars. Looking around and seeing no one other than Knauer, and Arti a few cell's down, she moved closer to him, taking her hands out of her pockets. Stopping only inches from inside of the bars, she slipped her hands towards his, grasping his hands from inside of her "cage". She caressed his arms delicately, feeling his hairs slightly standing up on end. She let her head fall against one of the bars, and looked up at Knauer.
"I hoped you would come...." She said, her blondish hair illuminated by the moonlight.

"I always do something I say I will do," he answered softly, gripping her hands gently with his own. He rested his forehead on one of the bars, praying that no one else would come into the building. But, that was not for him to decide so he would let fate take its course. His giant thumb gently stroked her hand as he gazed at her. The moonlight engulfed the two of them as they stood there.
"Hang on," he said and let go of her, stepping back. He fumbled with the keys, wincing every time they jingled. He found the correct one and undid the lock, hearing it click out of place. Smiling to himself, he quietly opened it so he could slip in. He closed it behind him, making sure it was unlocked.

She let go of his hands briefly, anxious to touch him again. She waited impatiently as he unlocked the cell door, quietly, and then seemingly jumped at him once he had done locking it back again. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she chuckled softly. "Been waiting a while to do this, Knauer.." She said happily, and pushes her head so it rested under his chin.Grasping his hands, she sighed deeply.

Knauer grunted a bit as she wrapped her arms around him. He could tell how anxious she was and it made him shiver a bit. He felt her push up against him and it took every ounce of self control to keep from kissing her. He sighed softly in her ear, feeling content in this position. Just feeling her up against him was good enough. He could feel her breathing against him as he proceeded to bury his face in her hair.
"Kaylen..." he said softly into her ear. He paused for a moment. "Call me Brian." He hated being called by last name. It was a pain in the ass... and it sounded too official.

Kaylen snuggled up against him, she loved the smell of him. Even though it was a mixture between sweat, and dirt from the yard, she loved it. She looked up at him, her dark chocolate eyes nodding, engulfing everything that he had to say. "Okay, Brian." She said with a large smile.
She knew it must would be an odd sight to see, if anyone were to walk by. A guard embracing a prisoner. It was almost unheard of. She smiled, feeling a bit coy. It felt oddly mischevious to be with him like this, hugging, and yet it felt like the most natural thing in the world.

He sighed softly, smiling at her. "That's better," he said gently. He reached up and gently stroked her cheek. How he had been waiting for this moment. A moment when he could feel Kaylen's body against his in a comforting way. He didn't want her to leave. Praying that no one would come, he bent down and hesitated for a second. No! I'm being too quick! he berated himself, wondering if this was right...

Kaylen felt her heart pounding more and more in her chest, her arms slipping to around his waist. She closed her eyes, waiting for the moment when he would kiss her. She could feel him falter, and she opened her eyes to a slit, seeing him looking slightly anxious and unsure. She grinned up at him, feeling his hand caressing her cheek.
Craning her neck a bit more, she made contact (YESH! lmao) with his lips. Kissing him fervishly, she pressed up against him more, this was one of the best moments in her life.
Breaking away from him slightly, her breath came out in slight gasps. "Wow.." was all she could muster.

He had a bit of a surprised look on his face as he was roughly shoved up against the wall. He held her close to himself as he kissed her back. When she pulled away, he stared deeply into her eyes. "Wow is right..." he whispered. That was a whirlwind, that was for sure. He felt a bit confused and unsure of what he had just done.
What if the Warden found out? Oh damn, screwed... Blinking slowly, he leaned down again and captured her lips with his.

She felt no resistance this time, as he again kissed her. This time, she let the kiss wash over her, like a long anticipated rain fall in drought season. She smiled as she kissed him, could feel his lips kissing hers. She pulled away again, and started to plant tiny pecks of kisses all over his face.
After they had kissed for what seemed like hours, but what was only a few minutes, she sighed happily, and for a brief second a thought flashed in her mind of what it would be like to be his forever. Pushing that thought away, she took his hand, leading him over to the windowsill, the light illuminating both of them.
"I'm glad I came here...even if it is a prison." She said, sobering.

"I'm glad you came here too," he said softly, touching her cheek. "You are the best thing that's ever happened to me..." he cut himself off, remembering a painful memory. He smiled softly at her, holding her close to his body. He wanted her to promise that she would never leave... never... But he couldn't do that to her... It just wasn't right.
He looked out the window, seeing the moon rising over Allenville like an omen of some sort. Not good but not bad either. His eyes picked up the sight of the stars as well as he gently grasped Kaylen's hand.

Kaylen smiled up at him happily, her arms encircling his waist. After hearing him say those few words of endearment, she almost had to blink back tears. All of her live she had dreamed of someone whispering them to her, but never in her wildest dreams had she thought it would happen in a prison cell. Giving him a loving squeeze, she felt him tense up, it looked like he was going back into his memories - like she often did.
"You're the best thing that ever happened to me, Brian." She said softly, saying his name with a slightly husky tone. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing... it's nothing," he assured her softly, stroking her cheek. Their just memories of an old loved one... he thought to himself. He shook the thoughts aside and relaxed, bringing her close. He would not allow anyone to seperate them. Nothing or anyone would stand in his way. She truly was one of the best things that ever happened to him.
He gently kissed her on the forehead, enjoying the feel of her soft skin against his lips. This truly was a time to remember for the broken-down Captain. He had faced so much but this... this was one of the most confusing times of them all... He wasn't confused in a bad way... but a good way...

She nodded, believing him. Resting against him, and feeling his lips touch her hair, she yawned despite herself. It had been a long day, and she was sufficiently tired. She didn't want this night to end, it was so magical, and the beginning of a whole new chapter in her life.
She kissed his lips once more, slipping back away from him, just holding both of his hands now. "I am soo tired..." She yawned, pulling a hand up to stifle her yawn. Sitting on her bed, she pulls her legs up under the covers. Snuggling in, she smiles at him from across the room. "I just want to say that this was the best night of my life, Brian, and I think I'm starting to fall in love with you.."
